Cover Supervisor

Salary: £105 - £120 per day (Depending on Experience)

We are currently seeking dynamic and reliable Cover Supervisors (CS) to work across a variety of schools in Nottingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in education, recent graduates, or individuals with experience in youth work or coaching. The role allows you to gain valuable classroom experience while making a real difference in students' learning.

Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor:

Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
Support students with questions and promote a positive learning environment
Record attendance and report any issues to the appropriate staff member
Provide feedback to teachers and school leaders regarding student engagement
Uphold the school's values and expectations at all times
Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Be flexible and willing to work across different subjects and key stages
Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
Cover Supervisor (CS) Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people or children in an educational or leadership setting, in support roles or classroom staff
A degree or Level 3 qualification is desirable, but not essential
Strong classroom presence and confident communication skills
The ability to adapt to different learning environments
Passion for working with all aged students
A current, updated CV and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
