Teaching Personnel are partners of the National Tutoring Programme and are recruiting for Tutors to work in Primary Schools.
The NTP was created to support schools in helping pupils catch-up on lost learning during the national lockdown. However, the programme also aims to provide a longer-term contribution to closing the attainment gap.
✅ Subsidised tuition
The NTP subsidise 15-hour programmes (blocks) of tuition for school children. 75% of the programme costs are paid for with NTP funding with 25% covered by the school.
✅ 15 hour blocks
Tuition must be arranged in 15-hour blocks. Where possible, tuition is expected to be in small groups of up to three children.
✅ Our tutor toolkit
Teaching Personnel provides a toolkit for qualified teachers and experienced tutors to deliver our programmes, along with a comprehensive set of services to help ensure success. Our tutors undertake comprehensive CPD accredited tutor training 'the tutor toolkit'.
We are looking for the following Educators:
- Have experience of working in Primary Schools
- You must have acceptable/relevant qualifications
- Have experience of working with disadvantaged pupils
- Be able to show progression in children's learning
To work as a tutor through the NTP you must be willing to complete FREE training through Teaching Personnel, such as:
- CPD accredited tutor training
- Training on our toolkit
- Level 2 Safeguarding training
- Induction with Teaching Personnel
