Compliance Officer - Hybrid working - Full time - £35,000 plus benefits

Amtis is supporting a well‑established organisation to hire a Compliance Officer into a Legal & Compliance team.

This role is ideal for a junior to mid‑level compliance professional with hands‑on experience across Data Protection, or AML, financial crime and regulatory compliance, who enjoys working closely with stakeholders in an in‑house environment.

The Role

Support the Legal & Compliance function across AML, financial crime and data privacy
Conduct compliance monitoring and assurance reviews
Prepare and support Data Subject Access Requests (SARs), AML reviews, sanctions and PEP screening
Maintain compliance policies and frameworks
Support regulatory scanning and governance reporting
Provide compliant, practical guidance to the wider business

About You

At least 1 year's experience in a Compliance or Legal & Compliance team
Practical experience with AML, SARs, sanctions or PEPs
Comfortable operating in a Second Line of Defence role
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Well organised, proactive and able to work independently
Compliance or AML qualification desirable but not essential
