£85 - £95 per day, depending on experience

Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming Primary School in the Tameside area, which is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their on-site resource unit, supporting children with a range of complex needs.

This is a full-time, long-term role that offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a nurturing and structured setting. You'll work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to support pupils with tailored learning activities, helping them access the curriculum in a safe, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will:

Have prior experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a resource base or similar setting

Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to support

Be confident managing behaviours and promoting positive interactions

Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred)

Be committed to fostering inclusion and enabling all pupils to achieve their potential
