About the Role

We're seeking a proactive and detail-driven Civils Estimator to join our expanding pre-construction team. You'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates across a wide range of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, highways, drainage, groundworks, and structural works.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents

Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and take-offs

*

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

*

Assess project risks, constraints, and opportunities

*

Support bid submissions and contribute to value engineering proposals

*

Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and the wider commercial team

About You

*

Proven experience as a Civils Estimator or similar role within the construction sector

*

Strong understanding of civil engineering methods, materials, and industry standards

*

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel

*

Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills

*

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously

*

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
