Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager

Job Type: 8am -6pm , four days a week!

Location: Brockley

Salary:£37,000 to £38,000

The Role: Deputy Nursery Manager - 50/50 Office and Room based (no key children)

As Deputy Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery. You'll work closely with the Nursery Manager to lead the staff team, promote outstanding care and education, and maintain a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.

As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be expected to:
• Support the Nursery Manager in all aspects of nursery management, including staff supervision, compliance, and curriculum delivery
• Lead by example in delivering high-quality care and EYFS learning
• Maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider team
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently upheld
• Take on managerial duties in the Manager's absence

Qualifications and requirements - Deputy Nursery Manager - Brockley
• Level 3 or above in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior nursery role
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
• Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
