Shift Pattern; Monday to Friday 7:45am to 4:30pm, overtime available

Location; Loughborough, Leicestershire

Commutable from; Shepshed, Coalville, Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Syston, Leicester .

Our client is looking to recruit a saw operator for their manufacturing facility based in Loughborough, Leicestershire to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected, established and growing business who genuinely recognise loyalty and ambition.

The Saw Operator Role;

* Cut acrylic and wood to required length to meet customer specifications

* Check profile cut length on first cut and periodically check after that to ensure accuracy

* Ensure workflow efficiency

* Efficiently remove obvious scrap before sending to the assembly stations

* Supply QC with samples

* Ensure samples and trials are marked, cut and put in the correct area

* Remove scrap materials

* Maintain a good standard of house keeping

* Ensure all operations carried out meet health and safety standards.

The Saw Operator Candidate;

* Previous experience in a similar role within Point of Sale, Sheet Metal, Signage or Graphics

* Competency in operating a saw

* Ability to understand and interpret drawings / job cards

* Able to function in a small team working to time sensitive client requirements

* Adhering to all health and safety
