Walker Cole International is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer to appoint a Metrology Technician. The Metrology Technician will be based on-site in the East of England and will play a key role in ensuring the calibration, maintenance, and compliance of laboratory and production equipment in a GMP-regulated environment.

The key responsibilities for the Metrology Technician will be:

* Perform calibration, verification, and maintenance of measurement and test equipment in line with GMP and ISO 17025 standards.

* Maintain accurate and compliant calibration records in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.

* Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation to minimise downtime and support process continuity.

* Support validation and qualification of new equipment and systems.

* Coordinate with external calibration service providers and contribute to audit readiness.

To be a successful applicant for the Metrology Technician you will demonstrate the following:

* HND/Associate's degree (or higher) in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field.

* Experience in metrology or instrumentation within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment.

* Strong understanding of calibration standards, measurement uncertainty, and traceability.
