Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive school in Warrington that is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join their team this September.

About the Role:

As an SEN TA, you'll work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional needs. You'll help create a positive, engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN

Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities

Support pupils' emotional and social development

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents

Help manage behaviour positively and effectively

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or care/support settings)

A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach

Good communication and interpersonal skills

A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
