NexGen Consultancy LTD are currently recruiting for a CNC Offline Programmer to join a rapidly growing precision engineering specialists within the manufacturing of state of the art, highly innovative machinery within the food industry.

ABOUT US:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Offline Programmer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating CNC machining programs using Mastercam, ensuring that production is cost-effective, timely, and meets the highest industry standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop CNC machining programs using Mastercam.

* Interpret dimensions from technical drawings accurately.

* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production processes.

* Generate detailed part process documentation.

* Collaborate on establishing inspection criteria and addressing manufacturing issues.

* Recommend and implement process improvements.

* Work under tight deadlines to ensure timely delivery of worktops.

* Manage individual workload efficiently while also contributing effectively within a team.

* Maintain excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Keep the work area clean and maintain machinery and tools.

* Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

* Strong proficiency in Mastercam and CAD/CAM programming.

* Minimum 1 year of experience in an engineering/ manufacturing environment.

* Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical support.

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and within a team.

* Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

* Commitment to maintaining a tidy and safe work area.
