M&E Electrical Engineer
Location: Leicester
Term: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

An established M&E consultancy based in Leicester is looking to recruit an M&E Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. This role will involve working on a variety of building services projects across the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.

The M&E Electrical Engineer will ideally have the following:

Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering

Proven experience in electrical building services design

Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech

Understanding of British Standards and building regulations

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to manage projects and work within deadlines

The M&E Electrical Engineer role will involve:

Designing and specifying electrical systems for a variety of building projects

Preparing technical drawings and documentation

Liaising with clients, contractors, and other design team members

Conducting site visits and surveys

Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards

Supporting the wider M&E team in project delivery from concept to completion
