Job Title: Recovery Worker
Hours of work: 37.5
Service opening hours: 9am-5pm Monday - Friday (some hybrid working available)
Salary: £19,453 - £20,305
Base: North West Leicester, Hinckley and Bosworth (Full UK Driving licence essential. Travel required)

The client:
In partnership with an established, sector leading mental health charity, I am seeking a full time recovery worker to work within the North West Leicester, Hinckley and Bosworth areas. Your new organisation is extremely people focused and is committed to putting the people they support first and delivering high quality care and support.

The Job:
Employed on a full-time basis, you will join a service whose purpose is to promote hospital discharge and prevent hospital admission for people with enduring mental health needs.

You will split your time across the North West Leicester, Hinckley and Bosworth regions; support in the community and people`s own homes as required. Some elements of hybrid working will also be needed for this role.

Key Responsibilities and duties will include:
" Signposting to external agencies for additional support
" Person Centred support which promotes practical, social and health outcomes
" Facilitating activities within the service and the community.
" Empowering the people, you support to make positive choices about their future, access additional support and manage their own mental health needs
" Partnership working with external agencies including social worker, community mental health teams and more
" Support accessing resources to manage mental health, such as anxiety, bipolar and depression
" Administrative tasks

Skills & Experience requirements:
" Demonstrate personal/professional experience of mental health support and diagnosis
" As a minimum, hold the level 2 and/or level 3 in health and social care
" Hold a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
" Have flexibility to work across various locations in North West Leicester, Hinckley and Bosworth, as well as clients` own homes
" Have flexibility to very occasional work an evening or weekend.
