IT Procurement Administrator
Part time - 30 hours per week/6 hours per day
Hybrid - 2 days per week in Cambridge
Our Global Life Sciences client are looking for IT Procurement Administrator to join them on a contract basis.
This person would be responsible for the daily activities of the technology purchasing function.
Responsibilities -
- Reviews technology purchasing decisions, orders, and vendor contracts. Oversees the ordering of materials and supplies from vendors.
- Researches, interviews, and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.
- Creates purchase orders for the acquisition of materials and performs related administrative tasks.
- Contribute to data analysis typically for commercial and/or financial functions. Implements work plans and functional or department strategies.
- Contribute to the development of work plans and execute them independently.
Key experience/skills:
- IT Procurement Processes knowledge from Purchase to Pay of IT hardware/Software
- Multiple vendor coordination and account track on IT Procurement
- Telecommunication service management (SIM connection and device inventory)
- Basic knowledge of SAP/Ariba tools
- Good Knowledge of Office 365 (proficient in Excel)
- Good knowledge of ServiceNow
- Proficient in communication tools like MS teams, Zoom
This is a contract position for 6 months initially with potential to extend.
