Zest Education is working closely with a primary school in Coventry that is seeking a committed and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This role offers full-time hours (8:00am-3:00pm, Monday to Friday) and comes with the exciting potential for a permanent position from September.

What You'll Be Doing:

Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties

Adapting learning activities and approaches to meet the unique needs of each pupil

*

Building trust and strong relationships to encourage emotional and academic development

*

Working alongside teaching staff and the SENCO to deliver consistent and structured support

*

Promoting a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued

Who We're Looking For:

*

Experience working with children with SEN (either in schools or alternative settings)

*

A calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach - especially when faced with challenging behaviour

*

A team player who communicates well with staff, parents, and external professionals

*

Ideally holds a relevant TA qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3), but passion and experience matter most

*

An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply through Zest)
