An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Teacher to join a brand-new independent SEN school based in Lancashire/Yorkshire. This innovative school provides a nurturing, trauma-informed environment for students aged 11-16 with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of SEN learners.

*

Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, caregivers, and the wider support team.

*

Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, well-being, and achievement.

*

Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet different learning styles.

*

Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and intervention as needed.

*

Work closely with colleagues to enhance and innovate the curriculum and school initiatives.

*

Commit to ongoing professional development to continually refine and update your teaching practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant teaching experience, ideally within an SEN setting.

*

A passionate and committed approach to working with students with SEND.

*

Deep understanding of SEN challenges and effective educational strategies.

*

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

*

Dedication to fostering a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
