The Opportunity A thoughtful and dynamic Teacher of Sociology is required for a forward-thinking secondary school in the London Borough of Ealing. This is an ideal role for an educator who can inspire critical thinking about society, social structures, and contemporary issues, empowering students to understand and engage with the world around them.
The Role You will teach Sociology across Key Stages 4 (GCSE) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level). Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering engaging lessons on sociological theories, research methods, and various aspects of social life, from crime and deviance to education, family, and social inequality. You will foster analytical skills, encourage reasoned debate, and prepare students for examinations and future studies in sociology or related fields.
