Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Process Safety Engineer to join top-tier COMAH site in Manchester on a permanent basis.

As a Process Safety Engineer, you will contribute to the design, maintenance, and development of plant processes on a top tier COMAH site, with a strong focus on implementing robust, COMAH compliant systems for safe operation and HSE inspections of both new and existing assets.

The Role:

* Support the development and maintenance of the safety management system

* Identify and implement plant modifications to improve safety, efficiency or reduce environmental impact.

* Support the introduction of new processes on to the Site, developing training programs to ensure safe operation.

* Provide technical support in troubleshooting plant problems as identified by Plant Management

* Lead HAZOP studies for new and existing operations on site

* Maintains contact with HSE and external Health & Safety consultants

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

* Degree level or equivalent in Chemical or Process Engineering

* You will have at least 5 - 10 years' experience working on a High-hazard chemical, petrochemical, or similar heavy industrial environment.

* Previous experience working on a Upper Tier COMAH site is essential

* Have a strong technical awareness on Process Safety matters
