We are seeking a resilient, compassionate, and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a dynamic Secondary PRU in Gorton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students aged 11-16 who are not currently in mainstream education, helping them re-engage with learning and achieve their potential.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant in our PRU, you'll play a vital role in:

Supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs

Delivering targeted interventions and one-to-one support

Assisting classroom teachers in managing behaviour and creating a positive learning environment

Building trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people with additional needs or challenging behaviour

Remains calm, empathetic, and patient under pressure

Has strong communication and teamwork skills

Is passionate about inclusion and committed to helping every child succeed

Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training can be provided)
