Job Description:

Fraser Edwards is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Facilities Management contractor for a Fabric Engineer with a plumbing bias.

This is a permanent role offering long-term stability within a growing and reputable organisation. Due to continued expansion, our client is strengthening their Planned Works and Maintenance team. Key Responsibilities

* Take delivery of materials, check delivery notes, and hand documentation to the foreman

* Carry out reactive maintenance on all types of fabric equipment on the client's asset register

* Complete worksheets accurately and submit to Head Office weekly

* Complete planned maintenance works in line with client specifications

* Make recommendations regarding plant condition, including submitting Life Expired reports as necessary

* Assist the Contracts Manager with costings for remedial works

* Order materials for jobs and manage associated paperwork

* Attend training and Health & Safety courses as directed

* Follow company procedures for accident reporting and site H&S guidelines

The Ideal Candidate

* Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer with a plumbing bias

* Experience working within Facilities Management or commercial maintenance environments

* Full UK Driving Licence (Van Provided)

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Excellent organisational and reporting abilities

* Flexible approach to overtime and callout requirements

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:30

* Participation in callout rota as required
