Year 3 Class Teacher - Primary School in Brent

We are working with a popular three-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Brent that is looking for a Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September 2025 for a maternity cover position.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to develop their practice in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Year 3 Teacher Role:

• Full-time Year 3 class teaching role starting September 2025.
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons.
• Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 3 teachers on planning, assessment, and moderation.
• Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Promote positive behaviour management strategies.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Year 3 Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through PGCE, Bachelor of Education, or equivalent.
• A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum (Year 3 experience desirable).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A collaborative, proactive approach to teaching and learning.
• Creativity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for primary education.
