The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Metal Recycling Operative for our Recycling client based in Wolverhampton.

Working hours: Monday to Friday: 07:00-16:30

Hourly Rate: £13.50-£14.00 per hour dependant on experience

Start Date: Immediate

Duties of a Metal Recycling Operator will include:

• Identify and grade non-ferrous metals in line with company procedures and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with yard staff and management, maintaining clear communication and following operational instructions.
• Work effectively in an outdoor environment and adapt to varying weather conditions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and adhere to safe systems of work at all times.
• Support general yard operations and duties as required.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and adhere to safe systems of work at all times.

Requirements of a Metal Recycling Operator:

• Has experience within the scrap metal.
• Demonstrates knowledge of non-ferrous metals.
• Demonstrates strong numeracy skills, with the ability to accurately weigh, calculate and record material quantities.
• Shows reliability, a strong work ethic, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
