Are you a passionate and experienced HLTA looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We're recruiting for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive Alternative Provision Secondary School in Burnley, starting at the beginning of September for the full academic year.

About the Role:

• Work closely with teaching staff to support the delivery of engaging, tailored lessons
• Provide targeted support to students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Lead small group sessions and interventions across a range of subjects
• Contribute to a positive and structured learning environment
• Support the development of pupils' confidence, wellbeing, and academic progress

About You:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience essential
• Experience working within an alternative provision or with students with SEMH/behavioural needs is highly desirable
• Confident in supporting pupils at KS3 and KS4
• Calm, resilient, and adaptable, with excellent behaviour management skills
• Able to build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff
