Location: Bury

Contract: Fixed Term – 3 Months

Hours: Full-time (35 hrs/week)

Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–5:00 PM (flexibility required between 7 AM–8 PM, including occasional weekends)

Hybrid Working: Minimum 3 days office/community-based; up to 2 days WFH by request

Driver: preferred

Qualification: Level 3 or above in Health / Social Care

We are seeking an experienced and resilient practitioner to support children and young people aged 8–18 who are on the edge of care. You will work intensively with families facing complex challenges, aiming to strengthen relationships and prevent care escalation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hold key worker responsibility for up to 7 families
• Conduct whole-family assessments and co-produce SMART plans
• Deliver trauma-informed and restorative interventions
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
• Maintain accurate records reflecting the child’s voice

Requirements:

• Level 3 or above qualification in Health, Social Care, or related field
• Significant experience working with vulnerable children and families
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, child development, and family dynamics
• Ability to engage resistant children and promote positive change
