Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be assisting a dynamic and expanding Gardening and Grounds Maintenance business in their search for a Gardener / Grounds Maintenance

Based in Bromley, this opportunity is being offered on full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role, undertaking light gardening duties whilst ensuring safe and efficient transportation of garden maintenance machinery, tools, and materials.

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to fill the role of Gardener / Driver. The primary responsibilities include:

Driver Responsibilities:

• Driving a 3.5t flatbed van, safely delivering tools and materials to and from client sites
• Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
• Assisting with loading and unloading of equipment or materials
• Conducting routine vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues

Gardener Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the appearance of the grounds, including mowing, weeding, pruning, and watering
• Planting new trees, shrubs, flowers, and maintaining existing landscape features
• Applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed, following safety protocols
• Clearing and disposing of plant waste
• Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools
• Keeping pathways and outdoor areas clear of debris

What do you need?

• Valid driver's licence (Cat B) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial setting
• Familiarity with local roads and routes
• Previous experience in gardening or landscaping preferred
• Ability to operate gardening equipment safely
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
