The Client

Our client is a well established and leading provider of specialist flooring and wall cladding contracting services, covering the whole of the UK and Ireland. They have a fantastic reputation as market leaders within their field and cover a wide range of sectors including commercial, retail, local authority and education. Due to recent expansion, the company has a key requirement for a Contracts Coordinator on a permanent basis out of their head office in Huddersfield.

Main Purpose of the Role

This is a varied and integral role within the office-based team. The main responsibilities of the role will include:

* Completing and maintaining internal office activities.

* Support the Commercial Director & Operations Director in the day-to-day roles.

* Central pivotal role between estimation, purchasing & operations departments.

* Preparing job packs for projects

* Complete Risk Assessments & Method Statements for live projects

* Management of online client portals

* Organising materials and placing orders with suppliers as required

* Receiving and taking deliveries from suppliers

* Stock control and recording (to be developed)

* Developing systems as necessary to monitor and control activities

* Assisting booking in & preparation of estimates for Estimating Manager (to develop into preparing own estimates)

Experience required

* Strong administration skills

* Proficient in spoken / written English

* Strong numerical skills

* Ability to work on your own initiative

* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

* Office administration experience

* H&S Risk Assessment preparation experience (preferable)

* Have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met

The Rewards

The starting salary is £26,000 - £30,000 per annum and they will be entitled to 22 days annual leave, plus the public & bank holidays with a Christmas shutdown. The working hours are 8am until 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break. The company also offers career progression opportunities and a pension scheme
