Grounds Maintenance Operative required

Location:                    Weymouth

Rate:                          £15.79 on a limited/umbrella basis

Length:                       2 months +

Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work in the Weymouth area. This exciting opportunity is looking for candidates who have previous experience within the domestic sector

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Carrying out soil preparation, planning and maintenance
• Responsible for herbaceous borders, shrub and flower borders, and pond maintenance
• Undertaking hedge and grass cutting
• Carrying out pruning and tree planting
• Responsible for sweeping, clearing of litter, leaves and fly tipping
• Assisting in soft/hard landscape work
• Responsible for the application of pesticides
• Assisting the caretaking team to clean graffiti, remove household waste and bulk rubbish items
• Ensuring that equipment and vehicles used are thoroughly checked prior to use

The successful candidate will have:

• PAY1 & PAY6 Spraying certificate
• Previous relevant experience
