We’re now looking for an detail-oriented IFA Administrator to join our small and dynamic team. This is a remote role where you’ll play a key part in improving operational efficiency, building strong relationships with providers, and helping us deliver exceptional service to clients with £3m-£50m in investable assets.

Package Details:

The successful candidate will receive a Salary of £28,000 - £32,000 Per Annum

Purpose of the role:

This position merges the key responsibilities of an IFA Administrator and a Junior Paraplanner. As a IFA Administrator, you will provide operational and light technical support to the Advice and Paraplanning teams, ensuring client records are meticulously maintained, provider relationships are managed efficiently, and high-quality support is given throughout the advice process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your duties will include but not be limited to:


• Support the Advice Operations, Paraplanning, and Advice Teams with daily tasks.
• Handle Adviser & Third-Party email correspondence via a shared mailbox.
• Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a polite and professional manner.
• Draft, proofread, and send letters and information requests to clients and third parties.
• Organise, maintain, and update client files using Zoho WorkDrive.
• Organise and maintain client records using Zoho CRM.
• Complete basic AML checks on client identification.
• Compile MI data into spreadsheets for Senior Managers.
• Liaise with providers to chase new business, transfers, valuations, and documentation requests.
• Prepare basic research documents for paraplanners and senior paraplanners.
• Assist paraplanners and advisers in creating client presentations, suitability reports, and annual review documents.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Shadow paraplanners, senior paraplanners, and advisers to develop technical knowledge.

The Ideal Employee:

  • Previous experience as a financial planning administrator - ideally in high-net-worth or boutique IFA settings
  • Passionate about Six Degrees and it's future
  • Hungry to learn, grow, and engage in the broader business
  • Confidence communicating with providers and third parties to resolve queries
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and good judgement
  • Not looking for a fast track to an adviser role. You genuinely enjoy operations and admin
  • Tech-savvy and open to new ways of working in a modern, digital-first firm

Experience required:


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Previous financial services experience required - ideally from an IFA Administrator, Client Services, or Junior Paraplanner role.
• Willingness to learn and complete relevant qualifications (e.g., CII/CISI/LIBF).
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications required:


• Minimum of a Level 3 qualification (e.g., A-Level, BTEC) - ideally in a finance, business, or economics-related field of study.
