A full-time opportunity is available for a Reception Teacher seeking a new long-term role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Early Years to join a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest. The salary for this role is in line with MPS1 to MPS4, depending on experience.

The successful candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a strong interest or experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). A commitment to a long-term role is essential, as this position is to cover maternity leave.

The Position - Reception Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and committed Reception Teacher to join a supportive primary school. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework, supporting children at the beginning of their educational journey.

A strong understanding of early child development, phonics, and observation-based assessment is essential. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports both academic and social development.

The ability to differentiate learning and support pupils with a range of needs, including SEN, is highly valued.
