Job title: Senior Claims TechnicianSalary: £65,000 - £70,000Location: London - Hybrid

PURPOSE OF ROLE:We are working with a leading Lloyd's broker to recruit a Senior Claims Technician to join their London Office. This role will sit within the claims technical division and will focus on processing claims across a cross-class, international portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process claims for a wide range of classes across global territories.
• Manage claims payments, bordereaux, and related technical processing.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and market procedures.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across client service, premium support, and claims teams.
• Provide technical expertise to support the efficiency of the division.

DAY-TO-DAY:

• Handle end-to-end claims processing through market systems.
• Maintain accurate claims records, payments, and reconciliation.
• Support claims reporting and assist with bordereaux management.
• Liaise with brokers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
• Contribute to improving processes and system usage where possible.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 - 10 years' experience in claims processing within a Lloyd's/London Market broker.
• Strong technical knowledge of cross-class claims.
• Experience with international business.
• Knowledge of bordereaux, claims payments, and end to end processing procedures.
• Additional knowledge of premium processing or IBA is highly advantageous.

SKILLS:

• Excellent organisational and technical processing skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Familiarity with Eclipse IT system (desirable).
