Halewood Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join our vibrant and committed team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that is ambitious, inclusive, and driven by a belief in the potential of every student.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Maths Teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences and outcomes for all students. You will be joining a supportive Maths department with a strong collaborative ethos and high expectations for both staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 to students of varying abilities

Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils

Support the development of curriculum resources and schemes of learning

Contribute to the wider life of the school and department

Promote high standards of behaviour, learning, and achievement

✅ We're Looking for Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Has a strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

Demonstrates a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning

Has the ability to motivate and engage young people

Is reflective, resilient, and eager to contribute to continuous school improvement
