Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (45 hrs/week)
Role Overview We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple water mains replacement projects from inception to completion. You'll deliver to the highest quality, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. You'll work closely with estimating, engineering, and site teams to meet — and ideally exceed — client expectations.

Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Commercial Management
Oversee the full project lifecycle from design through handover, including O&M documentation.
Produce financial forecasts, monitor costs, and report monthly to the Contracts Manager.
Review progress, allocate resources, and ensure work packages are clearly defined.
Chair weekly site meetings and maintain accurate records.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and consultants.
Prepare estimates for variations and assist in tendering for new work.Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Lead by example in promoting HSE best practice, ensuring legal and procedural compliance.
Keep all HSE documentation up to date and allocate responsibilities to site personnel.
Liaise with third parties to meet regulatory standards (HSG47, HAUC, NRSWA, Chapter 8).
Deliver briefings, toolbox talks, and team safety training.Quality Assurance
Manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure timely sign-off.
Maintain the QA file, resolve technical queries, and submit as-builts to the client.Key Measures
Timely, accurate Barhale weekly/monthly reporting.
Projects delivered on schedule and to budget.
Compliance with Business Unit objectives and KPI targets.About You - Essential
Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven experience in water infrastructure and mains replacement projects.
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts, CDM regulations, risk management, and cost control.
Primavera P6 (or equivalent) proficiency.
MEICA capabilities.
CSCS Manager's card, SMSTS, and NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.Desirable: CEng MICE, JCT contract knowledge.
