Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an 'Outdoor Learning Mentor' to support a Education centre in the New Forest working with young people who face emotional and beavioural challenges, such as children being excluded from school, disengaged from education or unable to attend due to health or other difficulties.

Your role will be to motivate and support students in a variety of learning situations. Mostly in Outdoor settings, to include climbing, abseiling, paddle board, mountain biking and kayaking.
To help students achieve learning and behaviour targets both individually and in groups.
To liaise closely with parents/carers and other professionals to develop effective partnerships. You must:

Have a DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
UK Driving Licence
Experience of working with children in any settingThe role will start on 1st of September, it will be a permanent role.
