Kforce has a client seeking a Data Engineer ETL in Miami, FL (Florida). This role is fully remote. The Data Engineer ETL will support our product, sales, leadership and marketing teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineer ETL is responsible for technical analysis of BI/DW Problems, builds a strong platform for Data Analytics using ML/AI capabilities
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies
  • Data Engineer ETL will assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
  • Data Engineer ETL participates in requirements and solution design activities with customers, coordinate test case development, user acceptance testing and business approvals for development lifecycle
  • Develop and plan communication strategies to ensure activities and accomplishments are communicated to senior management, project stakeholders, and IT teams
  • Data Engineer ETL will work closely with other development teams and other IT groups to ensure seamless support to internal customers

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures
  • Proven experience translating business problems into actionable data driven analytical initiatives
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with application
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, and IT project team members to define, design, and execute activities related to data validation
  • Current with trends in data management technologies as they relate to quality, stewardship, and cleansing
  • Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel and to summarize findings and recommendations for leadership presentations when needed
  • Must have strong analytical abilities coupled with sound trouble-shooting skills
  • Adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action
  • Must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations
