Our client, one of the prestigious Cambridge colleges are currently looking for an experienced Development/Fundraising Officer to support their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Main duties will include:

* Responsible for a variety of development/giving, programmes/campaigns

* Recruiting and training a team of students to carry out telephone campaigns

* Managing email campaigns

* Handling enquiries from donors and prospects

* Maintaining a portfolio of prospects

* Any other adhoc tasks to support the development office

The successful candidate will have:

* Previous experience within higher education is highly desirable

* Experience with Fundraising, Alumni Relations or Marketing is essential

* Project management skills essential

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

* Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with exceptional problem solving skills

* A friendly and approachable demeanour
