Procurement Specialist

Background to the company

Our client designs, builds and operates an advanced digital infrastructure and technology systems for high-density venues, mainly stadiums and entertainment venues.

We incorporate some of the most sophisticated:

Optical fibre-based IP and Ethernet;
Large scale digital streamed audio;
CCTV and video distribution;

As a cog in the wheel, the administarator Procurement Specialist is paramount in overseeing the Company's purchasing activities and contracts negotiation to ensure timely and cost effective acquisition of goods and services.

Principal Accountabilities

Sourcing and Supplier Management:Identifying, researching, and vetting new suppliers while maintaining positive relationships with existing suppliers.
Negotiation and Contracting:Negotiating favourable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to ensure best value and on-time delivery ideally on Landways' standard purchasing terms.
Contract Administration: Provide comprehensive support to project and delivery teams in administering contracts post‑award, including managing documentation, drafting and issuing formal communications, tracking contractual obligations.
Purchasing Operations:Processing purchase orders, reviewing invoices, and managing the end-to-end purchasing cycle working closely with the Delivery Director to ensure budgets are met.
Inventory Control:Monitoring inventory and spares levels to ensure optimal supply chain efficiency and prevent shortages. Coordinating with field and project teams on delivery.
Compliance and Reporting:Ensuring all purchases adhere to company policies, regulations, and quality standards.

Skill and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree with either supply chain management or legal related degree preferred.
At least 2-4 years in procurement, purchasing or supply chain roles.
Ability to understand and draft contracts.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Be enthusiastic, a quick learner and rise to a variety of diverse challenges.
Be tenacious and keen to solve problems with a good eye for detail and a methodical approach to your work
