What you’ll be doing:


•        Reviewing architectural drawings and specs to prepare accurate roofing estimates


•        Visiting sites to assess scope, challenges, and special requirements


•        Calculating materials, labour, and equipment costs using current market rates


•        Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing


•        Managing tenders, revisions, and change orders


•        Preparing and submitting bid proposals for a range of roofing projects


•        Negotiating contract terms and supporting project delivery


•        Creating Take Off schedules for site and operations teams


•        Staying sharp on industry trends, materials, codes, and safety standards


•        Supporting business development by spotting new opportunities

What you’ll bring:


•        5+ years’ experience as a Roofing Estimator


•        Strong understanding of flat and pitched roofing systems


•        Confidence interpreting technical drawings and specifications


•        A methodical, detail-oriented approach to estimating


•        Excellent communication and negotiation skills


•        Comfortable with on-site measuring and survey work


•        Self-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple tenders


•        Tech-savvy with solid software skills


•        Full UK driving licence and right to work
