Assistant Estates Operations Manager (Decontamination)

Duration:           Temporary (Temporary to Permanent)

Location:           Midlands

Salary:               £35-42,000/annum when on a permanent basis

Venn Group are currently recruiting for an Assistant Estates Operations Manager with the Midlands area.

Post Summary:

Acts as Authorised Person/Responsible Officer in relation to Decontamination equipment. Maintain, operate and review Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programmes and through the implementation of suitable operational work plans ensure that buildings, plant and equipment are maintained to the appropriate statutory standards in order to deliver a high-quality service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Undertaking commissioning, daily, weekly, quarterly and annual validations of decontamination plant and equipment, (autoclaves, sterilisers, disinfectors and ancillary engineering services including steam generating and RO systems)
• Establishing key performance indicators for the maintenance service, utilising management reports from the Estates Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems
• Managing all resources e.g. in-house or contract under own control, in the provision of an effective maintenance and repair service.
• Ensuring that suitable and sufficient Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) are adhered to.
• Acting as an ‘Authorised or Responsible Person’ (AP/RP) for Decontamination, undertaking specialist and site familiarisation training as required.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience within a similar role

Ability to take on AP/RP duties
