Role - AIR Operations Agent

Location - South Manchester

Salary - £28,000

My client is looking for an Operations Agent to be part of their small but dynamic team in the airfreight industry. Located in South Manchester close to Manchester Airport, this role offers the chance to work closely with both customers and suppliers, handling quotes, bookings, and operations.

What you'll do:

* Respond to quote requests and coordinate with airlines/suppliers

* Manage bookings, documentation, and customer relationships

* Ensure smooth handling of import/export operations

* 1-2 years' experience in freight

* Wholesale which means their customers in cargo are freight forwarders - we work as the go between finding solutions with airlines and doing all the work for them really behind the scenes.

* This role needs a confident team player who isn't afraid to pick up the phone and speak to customers and airlines/handling agent and transport companies.
