Due to continued growth the position of Customer Advisor has become available to join our successful team based in Hitchin.

Cadent is the UK's largest Gas Distribution Company, operating 4 of the 8 UK Gas Distribution Networks (East of England, London, North West and West Midlands). Their service spans over 131,000 kilometres of pipes supplying to 11 million homes & businesses.

Costain is the preferred bidder for the East of England Construction Management organisation (CMO). Central to Costain's role will be the strategic planning and programme management of Cadent's capital investment programme, with a focus on delivering improved regulatory performance and future proofing the network for the benefit of Cadent's customers.

Our operating hours are between 8am - 9pm during weekdays, therefore a flexible approach to shift work is required. This role will require 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home on a shift rota of 8am to 5pm or 12:30pm to 9pm.

Due to business requirements this role may require 5 days in the office from April 2024.

Role Requirements

• Contact centre and/or customer service background

• Experience of dealing with enquiries and complaint handling

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Experience of CRM systems and Microsoft packages

• Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive

• Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way

• Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
