Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home
Location: Walthamstow
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time | Permanent
We are seeking a Registered Manager to lead our children's home with care, integrity and a commitment to excellence.
Please note: it is essential that you have experience working in an Ofsted-regulated children's home, ideally in a management or senior leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
* Lead, support and develop a team of residential care professionals.
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care planning and risk management.
* Foster strong relationships with local authorities, partner agencies and families.
* Ensure the home achieves and maintains high inspection ratings, working towards 'Outstanding' outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience in an Ofsted-regulated children's residential home is essential.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
* Strong understanding of children's residential care legislation and statutory requirements.
* Proven ability to lead, manage and develop staff teams.
* A child-centred approach with a genuine desire to improve the lives of young people.
