Location: Blackburn/Lancashire

Salary: £11.92 per hour

Hours: 35 hours a week - Will include Days Nights and Weekends Shifts so MUST be Flexible.

Job Role:

SSP are growing and we are looking for experienced Seniors Support staff to join us in our new services. These roles will be to support Adults with Autism and other complex healthcare needs in the community and Supported Living services in the Lancashire area.

- Providing a great level of care and support to a vulnerable adults in a Community / Supported Living Setting.

- Managing challenging behaviour

- Leading the Shifts

- Rota Management

- Record keeping

- Report writing/ Incident writing

- Some personal care could be involved

- Ensure the respect, dignity and rights to privacy of service users far as possible.

- Working together with the service user's family and professionals.

You will need to be:

- Flexible

- Reliable

- Experience within care

- Demonstrate empathetic, compassionate approach

- Organised and highly competent at multi-tasking

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Committed

- Ability to develop effective working relationships

Essential Qualifications

- Level 2 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
