Job Summary

Summary of essential job functions:
1) Open/Close Location
2) Control sales and inventory through approved point of sale management system
3) General knowledge in all facets of the business
4) Manage groups, parties and walk-in play
5) Coordinate party schedule
6) Operate merchandise and concession area
7) Generate inventory reports and order supplies as approved by the Manager
8) Ensure that location is organized, clean and presentable at all times
9) Responsible for overseeing the safety of all guest and resolving guest concerns
10) Ensure store is secure from internal and external theft, including securing all cash transactions
11) Oversee party plans, assignments, setup, customer satisfaction, etc.
12) Oversee Monkey Joe’s daily appearance policies and procedures
13) Manage and review daily, weekly, monthly, yearly sales goals
14) Implement sales campaigns, programs, initiatives as directed by Manager
15) Expected to be at location during busiest hours
16) Provide operational reports, information, staffing issues/concerns, problems, repairs needed, etc. to Manager keeping him/her informed of all matters relating to location while assigned as the MOD
17) Provide employee training, manage work responsibilities and set schedules with Manager approval
18) Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed

Minimum requirements:
1) General knowledge of retail store operations
2) Past experience in hospitality or education
3) Past experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager in a related field preferred
4) Ability to multi-task
5) Sense of urgency and ability to respond to a fast-paced environment
6) Efficient at problem resolution
7) Ability to direct and lead others
