Location: Gun Wharf (with travel to local sites)

Are you passionate about creating safer, healthier workplaces? Our client is looking for a hands-on Corporate Health & Safety Manager who can lead on all things health & safety and help shape a positive, proactive safety culture across the organisation.

This is a great role for someone who wants to make a real impact—working closely with managers, teams and external partners to keep people safe and support wellbeing at every level.

What You'll Be Doing

*

Acting as the organisation's main Competent Person for all health & safety matters.

*

Giving expert advice to managers and senior leaders.

*

Creating and rolling out practical H&S policies, plans and safe systems of work.

*

Delivering engaging training sessions for staff and managers.

*

Investigating incidents and accidents, completing RIDDOR reports when required, and helping prevent future issues.

*

Reviewing accident/incident data to spot trends and identify improvements.

*

Supporting colleagues on occupational health topics—such as stress, display screen equipment, lone working and wellbeing.

*

Helping promote wellbeing and healthy working practices across the organisation.

*

Making sure equipment, workspaces and working practices are safe and compliant.

*

Getting involved in health & safety committee meetings and sharing updates.

What We're Looking For

*

Solid experience in a health & safety role, ideally within a larger or complex organisation.

*

Strong working knowledge of H&S law and compliance.

*

Confident working with senior leaders, regulators and internal teams.

*

Someone proactive, approachable and great at problem-solving.

*

Comfortable delivering training and leading investigations.

*

Line management experience is helpful, but not essential.
