Academics Supply Agency covering Leeds and Wakefield are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a range of welcoming and supportive primary school across these areas.

This is fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety or is looking to secure a long - term placement.

As an HLTA, you will be expected to cover classes in the absence of a teacher, support learning across the curriculum, and work closely with school staff to ensure pupils remain engaged and on track.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre - planned lessons across KS1 and KS2
Lead whole-class sessions when required
provide targeted support to small groups and individuals
Support classroom behaviour management
Assist with tracking pupil progressRequirements

HLTA qual or equivalent exp
Prev exp covering classes
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
