We are working with a well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Putney that is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join their dedicated team. The Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for suitable candidates. You will play a key role in helping students develop strong numeracy skills and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with colleagues in the Maths department.
Support extracurricular activities such as maths club, problem-solving workshops and numeracy competitions.

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds UK QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
Has experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting or is an ECT looking to start their career in a supportive school.
Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics and problem solving.
Is committed to student progress, engagement, and high academic achievement.
Has strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a love for learning.
