About the School

We are a specialist SEMH provision for boys aged 5-19, based in Wandsworth. Our vision is rooted in inclusion, structure, and opportunity. Our science curriculum blends curiosity, theory, and real-world application. We foster a culture of enquiry, independence, and creativity through well-sequenced content across KS3 and KS4.

About the Role

We are looking for an adaptable, reflective, and skilled Science teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4. You will deliver lessons through dynamic, practical lessons adapted to meet the individual needs of students in a specialist SEMH setting.

You'll be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive space for learning, managing behaviour positively, and nurturing each student's academic and personal growth.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Science across KS3 (and ideally KS4)

Strong understanding of differentiation and supporting SEMH needs

Confidence in managing behaviour and building positive relationships

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

Desirable:

Experience in a PRU, SEMH school or alternative provision

Subject specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics

Training in trauma-informed practice, Team Teach, or mental health support

Strong ICT skills to support lesson delivery and assessment
