Unreal Engine Developer - London & New Zealand

Salary: £35000 - £45000 / annually

An Emmy award-winning global visualisation studio is looking for an experienced mid-level Unreal Engine Developer to work on an exciting project in New Zealand. The role will require relocation to New Zealand for at least a year, with the potential for extensions past this should this become necessary.

With credits on titles within the Star Wars and Marvel film series, the company has offices in Los Angles and London and are quickly becoming industry-leading specialists in the fim, television and gaming space. They work with well-known clients all over the world, from Canada to Australia, supporting them on the production of next-generation media content and are offering an experienced Unreal Engine Developer with the chance to work in New Zealand for at least a year. 

The Unreal Engine Developer Role

The successful candidate will be required to live and work in New Zealand for at least a year, working on set with a well-known client to help with the production of a popular television show. Responsibilities will include prepping Unreal assets for motion capture sessions as well as supporting complex mocap animation needs.

 Essential Experience

In order to prepare you for this role, the company are happy to help the right candidate through extensive training. However, they are seeking someone who is already equipped with the following skillset:

  • At least 3 years' experience with the Unreal Engine
  • proven commercial knowledge of MAYA 
  • Gameplay development experience 
  • Motion capture experience would be desirable but is not mandatory
