About the role

Reporting to our Head of Enterprise Sales, the Sales Development Representative is primarily responsible for connecting with our large existing customer base as well as new potential targets to generate and build a sales pipeline of opportunities

Key duties and responsibilities are:

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by qualifying leads using our existing list of over 2000 warm customers, who have a purchase history from the previous 12-24 months. You will also be responsible for:

  • Connecting with our large existing customer base and new potential targets to generate and build a sales pipeline of opportunities that can be progressed through the team structure to be closed by the New Business Sales Team.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients via telephone, email, and other outbound prospecting methods.
  • Qualify leads based on the criteria provided and assess their potential suitability for our products/services
  • Engage with clients to understand their business needs and challenges, and effectively communicate the value of what products/services we can offer to them
  • Build and nurture effective relationships with clients and J24 sales colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and lead status using Salesforce
  • Continuously learn about our products/services, trends, etc to effectively engage with clients
  • Identify larger deals that need to be passed to the senior sales team

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previousexperience in an Outbound telesales or similar role is essential.
  • Previous experience selling Technology, SaaS, or similar is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commercial mindset with a confident character.
  • Self Starter who is motivated to hit KPIs
  • Knowledge and interest in IT hardware and software is beneficial
