We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school located in Stirchley. This is a full-time position, working closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils across all abilities within a Year 2 class. This position is due to start in October 2025 and is ongoing, giving you the opportunity to establish a long-lasting relationship with a fantastic school.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the teacher in the delivery of engaging lessons.

* Support individual pupils or small groups to help them reach their full potential.

* Contribute to the management of classroom behaviour and the creation of a positive learning environment.

* Prepare learning materials and classroom resources.

* Supervise pupils during break and lunch times, and support with occasional school trips or extracurricular activities.

* Assist with assessments and record-keeping.

The ideal candidate will have...

* Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* An Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.

* Genuine passion for helping children achieve.

* Solid understanding of the Key Stage curriculum.
