Key Responsibilities:

Night Driving:

* Undertake scheduled night shifts starting at 18:00, ensuring punctuality and reliability.

* Maintain vigilance and adhere to all road safety regulations to ensure safe and efficient nighttime operations.

Route Management:

* Efficiently manage routes to ensure timely deliveries, optimising travel paths using advanced GPS technology.

* Limit drops to a maximum of two per shift, ensuring high-quality service and punctuality.

Vehicle Inspections:

* Conduct comprehensive pre and post-trip vehicle checks, guaranteeing your HGV Class 1 vehicle is safe and roadworthy.

* Promptly report any defects or issues to supervisors, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance.

Loading and Unloading:

* Enjoy a no-handball policy, focusing on safe and secure transportation of goods.

* Ensure all loads are properly secured and protected, adhering to company safety standards.

Documentation and Compliance:

* Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, maintaining meticulous records for each delivery.

* Ensure compliance with all EU driving laws and regulations, upholding the highest standards of safety and legality.

Professional Development:

* Participate in a mandatory driving assessment prior to commencement, ensuring alignment with company standards and expectations.

* Demonstrate a willingness to continuously improve skills and knowledge, contributing to personal and team growth.

Customer Interaction:

* Uphold excellent customer service standards, communicating effectively and professionally.

* Address and resolve any queries or issues, fostering positive relationships with clients.

Shift Pattern:

* Benefit from a unique 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, providing a balanced work-life schedule or work Sunday to Thursday, completely your choice!

* Ensure availability and flexibility to accommodate the night shift schedule, while enjoying ample time for rest and personal commitments.

Requirements:

* Valid Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.

* Minimum of 2 years of HGV Class 1 driving experience.

* Valid UK CPC and UK Digi Tacho cards.

* Comfortable working night shifts starting at 18:00.

* Excellent level of written and spoken English.

* Thorough knowledge of EU driving laws and regulations.

* Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
